Red Foxes vary extremely in their body color and size. They are characterized by their long and bushy tail which is almost 70% of their body length. They sport a magnificent vibrant coat which helps them to sustain the adverse weather conditions of the Himalayas and the trans-Himalayas. These carnivores prefer to live in burrows or small caves. Rodents are their favorite prey. They have got whiskers on their face as well as legs, which help them to navigate.
