Wildlife is the most dynamic and vibrant form of life on earth. While they play a major role in maintaining the balance in the ecosystem, it has to be understood that we should not be requiring a reason to save and protect them. They should stay protected because every form of innocent life deserves to complete their life cycle on this beautiful piece of heaven. Ignorance has already created huge destruction by putting many species to extinction and bringing many more to the brink. It is high time, if not late, to react and start taking on the task of saving each and every ailing individual in the world of wildlife. That is the only way of offering a better future to this blue planet. The ‘International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN)’ has prepared a Red list to categorize the various species and subspecies according to the threat they are facing in the present scenario. The categories are Extinct, Extinct in the Wild, Critically Endangered, Endangered, Vulnerable, Near Threatened, Least Concern, Data Deficient and Not Evaluated. The species mentioned here are in no way more important than the millions which are left out. In fact there are numerous species in the world which are facing extinction and require greater attention than anything else. These are the beautiful people who crossed path in various photographic journeys at different destinations across the globe. The uniqueness mentioned against each make them stand out in the animal kingdom. The list is ought to increase in future with more and more adventures in the wild.
